t.RECS Carrier Connectors

The t.RECS carrier board has quite a lot of connectors on top and some at the ATX I/O Shield at the back (see below). The top connectors are described in the following figure.

At the back of the t.RECS, there is the standard ATX I/O Shield located with several connectors: DisplayPort for Modules 2 and 3, 2x USB-C per Module, a Management Ethernet port, 4x 10 Gigabit Switched Ethernet ports and 2x USB 2.0 which can be switched to individual modules via KVM.

Chassis

As chassis, we offer a 2 RU standard chassis with a 740 Watt redundand power supply unit. The chassis includes 8x 3.5” HDD/SSD slots, from which three are connected to the t.RECS mainboard. It also has a frontpanel with Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) support to directly work the COM-HPC microservers. A small LCD display is available for managing the power state (on/off/reset) of the COM-HPC microservers. Also, some basic sensors like FAN RPM and actual power draw can be read out from the LCD.

The standard 2 RU chassis is based on Supermicro SC825, please refer to the official Chassis Handbook.

Dimension

The t.RECS carrier has the dimension of the E-ATX standard: 330 x 305 mm (DxW) or 12″ x 13″ (DxW).

The t.RECS 2 RU server chassis has a size of 647 x 437 x 89 mm (DxWxH) or 25.5″ x 17.2″ x 3.5″ (DxWxH).

The t.RECS has sophisticated management functionalities which are accessible via a Web GUI. The main features are:
